Our Story

Wildwood Academy began as a dream—one that took shape when two passionate educators, Liza Holtz and Christine Allen, came together with a shared vision for a child-centered, nature-inspired school in Clearwater. With years of experience in education and a deep belief in hands-on, inquiry-based learning, they set out to create a place where curiosity thrives, creativity is celebrated, and children are empowered to explore the world in meaningful ways. They have been working tirelessly to build a school community that fosters wonder, independence, and connection. Wildwood is more than a school—it’s a movement toward reimagining education for the next generation.
